The xx performed their cover of Florence + the Machine's Youve Got the Love last night at Glastonbury and were joined on stage by the one and only Florence herself!
What is so impressive about this performance is how she sounds EXACTLY like the recording, which I thought was the product of some intricate mixing of her original vocals. The way she makes her voice do that--- oh. Just oh. And I love the way crowd cheers when she comes on.
She has cemented her place in the monarchy of music and I cant wait till she's queen.
And it's nice to see The xx with such a huge stage and audience, very well deserved. It's crazy to think that it's been less than a year since their debut album dropped- oh the power of the blogosphere.
