her name's Oh Land, she's a Dane, but she moved to Brooklyn *jeal.* apparently, she was discovered at SXSW 2009.
i would love to see to her live shows, she looks like an incredible performer. i mean check out this live clip--she's got balloons with projectors and that cool-ass light thing:
oh, and her tunes are catchy. and she's really pretty.

yep! she is such a gem to find. I love her music & style & personality...she really has the package to go a long way and gain some genuine fans! She's getting tons of support right now, especially in the blogosphere, with "Sun of a gun" getting #1 on hype machine...SO cool :)
